Abstract: A digital product lifecycle is a framework for describing the stages of a digital product's life from its conception to retirement. It is divided into several phases, each with its own set of goals and activities. To successfully introduce a digital product, it's crucial to have a strategy for managing its lifecycle.

About the Speaker: Mr. Harish B Jayaraj is a Certified Systems Engineering Professional who has been a Technical Leader for his Chapter and Cohort 3. He is also a past leader of the INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter.

**On February 21st, 2024 Chapter Members enjoyed a virtual lecture on System Of Systems - History, Value, and Role in the Future of Global Innovation.** Our speaker was Dr. Steve Biemer, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and JHU - Whiting School Professor.
Dr. Biemer gave an inspiring presentation about how systems engineering will bring innovation through interconnection, design, and development of SoS networks that help solve the world’s biggest challenges!

On 19 August, 2023 the INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter held a Saturday morning social event at the College Park Aviation Museum located near the University of Maryland. Nine members attended a private walking tour.

2023-04-19: Using SE to Design a Vaccine Appointment and Delivery System (Bodner/Sutton)

Douglas Bodner and Stephen J. Sutton presents a project that defines a system that permits any resident of a state (of the United States), no matter his/her place of residence or access to technology, to obtain a vaccine appointment for the initial vaccine dose, the second dose (if needed), and a booster dose and maintains the vaccine record for the resident.

David Long, ESEP, and president of Blue Holon, Inc, discusses how the advance of technologies and growth of complexity has led to yesterday’s approaches failing. He further explains how we can move beyond 20th century engineering, how we must adapt and transform. Drawing from Systems Engineering Vision 2035 and insights from around the world,David shows how systems engineering must evolve to engineer a better tomorrow.

Chapter Youth Outreach Report: 2023 Science Fairs

This February and March, Chesapeake Chapter volunteers again participated as independent sponsor judges at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Science and Engineering Expo. There were five volunteers this year: Clinton Hilliard, Jim Campbell, Jim DeCamp, Josephine Podolsky, and Daniel Yue.

This October, two of the largest local INCOSE area chapters came together to hold a joint social event at the Top Golf venue in Germantown Maryland. Members from both the Chesapeake Chapter and the Washington Metro Area Chapter spent a sunny autumn afternoon participating in friendly golf-themed competitions while also getting to know each another.
