2022-01-25: Months to Minutes - Command and Control (C2) of Control Systems (Scalco)

Date: Tuesday, January 25, 2022

Speaker: Aleksandra Scalco, CSEP

The INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter held a special event on January 25th that hosted Ms. Aleksandra Scalco (CSEP). Ms. Scalco, a PhD candidate at the Colorado State University and she is an expert in controls systems vulnerability assessments. Event attendees were treated to a first-time public presentation on a novel approach to quantifying systems vulnerabilities due to the misalignments in engineering practices, paradigms, processes, and cultures that arise during a systems lifecycle development. Her presentation introduced a new model and methodology that demonstrated measurement of multi-concern assurance through statistical uncertainty analysis of the Likert semantic differential scales. Engineers with an interest in drivers of system vulnerabilities will be interested in this presentation.
