Abstract:

Come get together with us to discuss how to deal with systems engineering in the innovation space.

Bert Gentry Lee is a space scientist, engineer, and author. He is chief engineer for the Planetary Flight Systems Directorate at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Lee had engineering responsibility for the twin rover missions the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, and the Deep Impact and Stardust missions.

He was awarded the Masursky Award for lifetime of contributions to systems engineering of robotic planetary missions. In 2021, he was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
